You fall into another plane of existence, where our Ancient Human History is now our future.

Here, you find that you have arrived in a realm that seems to have the makings of a hellscape manufactured by what we perceive to be a Neo-Egyptian civilisation.

You are alone and you fall into a Class War between those loyal to their masters, known as 'Loyalists', and those who within the resistance aim to take control for the people.

In a turn of fate, you are picked up adrift by a mysterious hooded figure who smuggles you into the lower levels of Neo-Alexandria. It is revealed that this mysterious rescuer is 'Non-Human' and is in fact an Artificial known as a 'Synther.'

You place your faith in her protection and you set out together to unravel the mystery of how you were pulled into this world by first moving further into the bowels of this ominous metropolis.

You discover that those loyal to the Masters have to submit to a ritual which grants them an experience with a higher power giving them unnatural abilities. You bear witness to this 'ritual' and you vow never to side with them.

The Masters reveal their plan is to infiltrate the consciousness of all 'Synther' types to begin purging the human population, at first, in secret and then after all the pieces have fallen, play their Endgame to convert all remaining Humans into Synthers who will be easily swayed to their side.

You are almost caught and killed as part of the Master Plan but you flee into the dark underworld of Neo-Alexandria where you stumble into the lair of the infamous 'Victoria', an Assassin and Seductress.

She offers you sanctuary and a way home but at a price.

You must become hers and pledge yourself to her alone so that you can help her and the Resistance rise and take back the realm from the Masters' control.

You reluctantly band with Victoria and your Unknown Rescuer to begin your revolution and you begin to realise that Victoria has infected your very being with a toxin which slowly begins to take effect.

Whilst preparing for what's to come, you dream of being back home, back home in New York City, the sights, the smells and the sound of rain hitting the concrete brings you peace ahead of a seemingly hopeless mission to return.

Atop the Crystal Pyramid, you and your new 'Friends' gaze upon the Metropolis and you then realise, you may not make it back but with reassurance, the fight must go on. The light dims and you push on towards the inevitable silence, the toxin surging through you, with rage building within you.

Desperate to return home, you confront Victoria, she herself is the Master, the one playing all as pawns. Burning with Rage and within the Dark Steel towers in this City of Shadows, you slay her and you are then exposed, powerless but whilst your strength wains, your rescuer helps you to your feet.

All of the faces of those you have freed from the grip of tyranny and despair emerge, as the neon lights of Neo-Alexandria begin to brighten once again but one thing still seems strange, 'why am I here, who or what pulled me to this place?'

A figure helps you to your feet, their hood is removed and you stare, confused and stunned in silence. The face, is your own and slowly, the truth begins to reveal itself like a curtain revealing warm sunlight.

This is home and you were always meant to be here.

Cat Temper has been making cat themed synth music for a bit but on the new "More Than A Feline" he invited a bunch of vocalists to play in the kitty world and, as a result, has made one of my favorite synth albums ever. Lots of fun. Enough pop hooks to tap your paws to but experimental enough that it's not like anything you've heard. Filled with vocalists bringing their best.
